PHY 10: An elective course that introduces major ideas about the nature of the physical world and methods used in exploring them. Topics include motion and forces; work and energy; nature of light and sound; electricity, magnetism and applications to modern technology; and nature of the atom. PHY 11:Introduction to principles and methods of physics. Topics include Newton's Laws of Motion, mechanics, heat, and sound. PHY 21: Statics, kinematics, dynamics, work and energy, circular motion, and simple harmonic motion with special applications to problems in technology.
