The lectures focus on discussions of psychological and behavioral approaches to stress management. The lab work combines a variety of relaxation and exercise techniques which teach the student to combat the negative physical effects of stress. The core of the course is student development of a personal stress management plan to best address each individual's needs. Additionally, active stress management skills will significantly benefit our students as they move forward into careers in Health
